Our heartfelt thanks to Shaykh Mohsen

 

My dear Brothers and Sisters,

Assalaamu alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

On Friday, April 16th, 2010, Shaykh Mohsen Bayoumy gave his last Khutba as Imam of Kobe Mosque.

The Muslim community of Kobe wish thank to Imam for his wonderful work during the last ten years in which he has lead our community in prayer, instructed us in our deen, taught our children the Holy Quran, performed our marriage ceremonies, and prayed for our loved ones who have passed away.

It is Shaykh Mohsen's intention to devote his time to making da'wa and teaching the Muslims all over Japan. For all those who love him and seek his teaching and advice, he is now Imam for the prayer every Friday at Osaka Mosque http://www.osakamosque.org/ He and his wife are teaching Islam and Quran from his home in Kobe and they have established a children's school nearby to continue the classes which they gave at the Kobe Mosque.

May Allah protect Shaykh Mohsen and his family.
