  • Day: Sunday
    10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
    The students are in three age groups.
  • 10:00-10:25 Hadith, daily invocations
  • 10:30-11:15 Quran memorization
  • 11:15-11:40 Arabic
  • 11:40-12:05 Stories of the Prophets
  • 12:05-12:15 Wudu
  • 12:15-12:45 Noon prayer.

Classes for Men

Holy Quran

  • Day: Sunday
  • Time: After Asr prayer
  • Group study of the Holy Quran including recitation, commentary and hadith

Classes for Women

1. Introduction to Islam

  • Day: Saturday
  • Time: 1:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.
  • Muslim and non-Muslim women are welcome.
  • Lessons from the Holy Quran and Hadith, the life of the Holy Prophet and his wives and companions, are taught in English and Japanese.

2. Holy Quran

  • Day: Sunday
  • Time: From 1:30 p.m. until the Asr (afternoon) Prayer
  • This class is for Muslim women
  • The class includes learning how to recite, memorize and understand the meanings of the Holy Quran.

Islamic Library

The mosque library is located on the first floor of the Cultural Center. It contains important Arabic reference works. The bulk of material translated from Arabic is in the English language. However, a number of pamphlets explaining Islam in Japanese are available upon request. Japanese translations of the Quran can be obtained by contacting the Japan Islamic Center.
