Imam Mohsen

Imam Mohsen Shaker al-Bayoumi committed the Holy Quran to memory at an early age. Later he graduated from Al-Azhar University in Cairo, where he studied Islamic sciences, specializing in the study of hadith. After teaching at Al-Azhar and serving as an imam in Cairo for fifteen years, he was appointed to the post of Imam Kobe Mosque in Japan. During his tenure he has given several series of lectures on the mission of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, blessings and peace be upon him, and tried to give his community a deeper understanding of the ways to draw near to Allah ta 'ala. For the benefit of the non-Arabic speaking congregation, these lectures were translated into English. The positive response regarding the importance of making this practical knowledge easily accessible to as many people as possible, both among the Muslims and those seeking guidance, has prompted us to publish them on this web page.
