Anyone who wishes to enter Islam should contact the Kobe Mosque to arrange an appointment with the imam, who will explain what is required from them. The Kobe Mosque will issue a certificate of conversion in Japanese or in English, to all new Muslims.

Marriages

Muslims who wish to marry should contact the Kobe Mosque to know what is required from them and to arrange a suitable time for the marriage ceremony. Kobe Mosque will issue a certificate of marriage to the married couple. For advice about Marriage in Islam, choosing a suitable partner, living together and raising children, please read Imam Mohsen's lecture, 'Marriage in Islam'

Conferences

The mosque is available as a venue for Islamic conferences. Please contact the office to make arrangements.

Deaths and Funerals

Kobe Mosque has facilities to take care of Muslim brothers and sisters who have passed away. A relative of the deceased Muslim should contact the mosque to make the necessary arrangements. If a relative passes away in another country, and the janazah prayer has been performed there, please request Imam to make supplication for him after the congregational prayer on Friday.

Eid Prayers

On Eid days, we always expect a large congregation. If you are coming by car, please park in one of the many parking lots nearby and walk to the mosque. Please show our neighbours the beautiful manners of Islam and do not park in the road or obstruct the sidewalk, and when the prayer is over please disperse quietly to enjoy the Eid with brothers and sisters and your families.
